⚠️ Warning: Small Parts & Choking Hazard
Small parts or broken pieces can be swallowed by children. Keep the product and packaging away from small children. Not suitable for children under 3 years of age. This product is NOT a toy!
1. What is this sheet for?
This sheet provides important information for the safe use of our 3D printed products and helps us to comply with legal requirements for online retail (e.g., the EU Product Safety Regulation). If something different is stated in an item description, what is stated there always applies.
2. Heat and Temperatures (very important!)
- The 50-degree limit: Never use or store in places where it gets hotter than 50 °C. Excessive heat will permanently deform the plastic.
- Heat sources: Keep away from heaters, ovens, stovetops, open flames, and hot surfaces.
- Car & Windowsill: Do not leave in a hot car or on a sunny windowsill in summer.
- Outdoors: Intended for normal indoor use – do not expose permanently to rain, frost, or direct sunlight, unless explicitly stated otherwise in the description.
3. Simple Safety Rules
- Check for cracks, sharp edges, or wobbling before each use.
- Do not use damaged, splintered, or heavily bent products.
- Not a toy – for adults only, unless otherwise described.
- Not for dishwasher, microwave, or oven. Boiling water will destroy the plastic immediately.
- Not tested for food or medical contact or prolonged skin contact.
- Do not use for safety-relevant, heavy loads.
- Use only for the described purpose – no liability for misuse.
4. Cleaning and Care
Wipe with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Do not use harsh cleaners, scouring milk, nail polish remover, or isopropanol. Do not immerse in water for extended periods; allow to air dry.
5. What you should not do
- Do not use as a climbing aid, step, or protective device.
- Not for safety-relevant car or bicycle parts without explicit approval.
- Do not carelessly drill, sand, or glue – modifications made at your own risk.
6. Disposal
Product and packaging belong in the appropriate local bins. Despite plant-based raw materials, PLA does NOT belong in the organic waste bin or on the compost – simply in general waste or the yellow bin.
7. Typical for 3D Printing
Our products are made using the FDM 3D printing process – built up layer by layer. Fine layer lines or slight color differences are normal and not a production defect.
In a nutshell: PLA products are lightweight, practical helpers for the home. Keep away from small children (choking hazard) and protect from temperatures above 50 °C. Do not continue to use if broken or cracked.
